Digital technology plays an important role to streamline processes and improve the business productivity of the maritime industry.

With our solution Always on Board we are helping captains and vessel operators to be more in control of their processes. Reducing the hassle of the current ways of working by bringing uniformity & efficiency in the on board digitalization of port call processes.

 

To further shape the growth of diize and Always on Board we are looking for a:

SALES MANAGER

In this role you will be a part of the core team consisting of a Customer Success Lead, Product Owner, Application Support, Dev team, Manager BD & Sales and the Director. You will be working closely with the Manager BD & Sales. You will report directly to the Director of diize

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Selling our digital products and growing our international customer base (mainly Asia & USA)
  • Ensure that there is a continuous inflow of new trial vessels
  • Profiling of our ideal customers - keeping our customer hit list up to date
  • Cold calling and chasing to get the right meetings 
  • Attending events in the industry for networking purposes
  • Staying aware on market developments
  • Have an eye and ear for new business opportunities / models

 

You….

  • Have 5 to 10 years of sales experience
  • Have affinity with IT and digitization
  • Know how to sell software solutions
  • Have knowledge of or a strong affinity with the maritime industry and its stakeholders
  • Are eager to travel the world to meet with potential customers
  • Are good in maintaining relationships and are a great networker
  • Are an easy communicator and know how to convince conservative players to go digital
  • Are proactive are dedicated to get the right person to talk to 
  • Are committed and self-organized
  • Are speaking fluently in Dutch and have strong English skills both verbal and written.
